Known for his work during the late ‘70s on Marvel Comics' “The Micronauts” and “X-Men,” commercial artist Michael Golden has added his artistic touch to many colorful characters.

He was the artist for “Avengers Annual #10,” which held within its pages the first glimpse of X-Men fave Rogue. He also worked on the following comics: “Bucky O'Hare,” “Doctor Strange,” “Howard the Duck” and “The 'Nam.”

His career spanning four decades, Golden has turned his attention in recent years to covers. He now has covers for “Hulk Team-Up,” “Ocean,” “Battlestar Galactica,” “Heroes for Hire” and “Project Superpowers” under his superhero belt.

Deets:
Michael Golden will sign from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, at Lone Star Comics Dallas, located at 6780 Abrams Road. Lone Star Comics will have some items featuring Golden's work available for purchase and encourages fans to bring their own comics and memorabilia for Golden to sign.
