The Jesus and Mary Chain has rescheduled its reunion show at 35 Denton for a free show Wednesday night.

The band was originally scheduled to play Sunday night at 35 Denton but is unable to leave London until Monday because of work visa issues.

The Jesus and Mary Chain will perform Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the North Texas Fairgrounds.

"We deeply regret not being able to get to Denton in time for the festival," the band's William Reid said in a news release. "We promise that the fans who come to the show on Wednesday will not be disappointed."

Attendees of 35 Denton with wristbands will have access to a secured VIP area at the front of the stage and will receive priority entry to the show.

The band's Sunday night slot at 35 Denton will be filled with another performer, the festival said.
