Interlochen Readies Holiday Lights

Thousands expected to drive through the display

The holiday light tradition returns to Arlington as the Interlochen neighborhood comes alive with lights.

More than 200 homeowners decorate their houses with festive lights and Christmas displays.

The display runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, December 16-18, 21, and 22. On Dec. 23-25, visitors can view the lights from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Visitors must enter the Interlochen neighborhood from Randol Mill Road at Westwood Drive. Visitors should allow for multiple hours to tour the lights, as traffic is normally bumper-to-bumper as thousands move through the display.

Arlington police will control traffic to help ensure safe travel in the area.
