East Dallas Boys and Girls Club, Flash Mob DMA

Ready, set, dance

Passers-by at the Dallas Museum of Art can see a flash mob in full effect Thursday, July 21.

A flash mob is a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and sometimes seemingly pointless act for a brief time and then beat it. Started eight years ago, flash mobs are typically organized via social media, viral emails or telecommunications.

Fifty kids from the East Dallas Boy and Girls Club will participate in the planned, seemingly spontaneous event.

The dance will take place on the bottom floor of the corridor to the Usher song “More” at 1 p.m.

Interested parties in the area should take a look.
