Shaken and stirred by the "current state of the economy," Plano's Martini Park shuts its doors.
D Magazine's SideDish blog got the news Monday that "due to the current state of the economy, Martini Park...has decided to close for business effective November 24, 2008."
Talk on sites like Pegasus News seems to focus on Martini Park's aggressive door policy, which included a strict dress code.
We think it's a two-fold problem - a once hot place to be is now filled with folks more effected by the economic slowdown.
Either way, folks looking for a spirited holiday will have to choose another place to grab their gin and vermouth.
