Dallas High Fashion Week Postponed

Dallas High Fashion Week Postponed

A message on the official website for Dallas High Fashion Week states that this much-anticipated event has been postponed.  Designer Oscar Fierro’s showcase of local independent designers was originally set to kick off September 26th, but now Dallas fashionistas will have to cool their jets until Spring 2010 for reasons detailed in the statement below:

“We wish to inform our dedicated fans, volunteers, models and all those who have supported Dallas High Fashion Week that the event has been rescheduled for the Spring season of 2010.  The overwhelming unforeseen demand for the event has commanded greater than expected attention, requiring a larger-scale production and larger facilities to support the visions of the organization.”

So, in short, the bad news is we’re gonna have to wait to scope out all those fresh local collections.  But the good news is that the event is gonna be bigger and better than expected.   In the meantime, DHFW is offering a full refund on tickets purchased for the original event.  For more information visit www.dallashighfashionweek.com.
