Texas Christian University is set to unveil their newly renovated football stadium on Thursday.

The $164 million renovation to the stadium was completed just before the team debuts in the Big 12 conference.

The Amon G. Carter Stadium will open with a ribbon cutting and stadium tours before country superstar and "The Voice" coach Blake Shelton takes the stage for a private concert for the Horned Frogs.

The public doesn't have to wait long to see the renovated stadium -- the first home game on the new field will be Sept. 8 against Grambling State.

You don't have to wait long to see Blake Shelton, either -- the third season of the "The Voice" premieres Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. right here on NBC 5.
