Belmont Hotel chef Tim Byres cooks up a line of barbeque by the pool tonight.
OPEN BAR: Ever heard your heels click on the gleaming marble floors at The Mansion on Turtle Creek? Everyone with $25 to spare is invited to the legendary hotel's bar on Thursdays for the informal Wine Chats, where a sommelier focuses on trendy tastes. 6:15PM.
BBQ FOR KINGS: The Belmont Hotel, with its skyline view and poolside parties, isn't too fancy chic to throw an old-fashioned barbeque. Chef Tim Byres serves up all the fixins but the jam -- The King Bucks have that covered. Pool area opens at 7PM, music at 9PM.
FREE FRO-YO: Get it right! The newest fro-yo shop in North Dallas ain't Pinkberry (yet), it's FreshBerry. The shop across from NorthPark Center is celebrating its grand opening by handing you, heat-stricken potential loyal customer, a free frozen yogurt and topping from 10AM-9PM.
