It's a good bet Shakespeare wouldn't be in love with the thought of being rewritten.

ERROR ON THE SIDE OF COMEDY: Tonight at the Samuell-Grand Amphitheater is one of your last chances to catch Shakespeare Dallas perform The Comedy of Errors. The Comedy of Errors is one of William Shakespeare's earliest plays, believed to have been written between 1592 and 1594. It is his shortest and one of his most farcical comedies, with a major part of the humour coming from slapstick and mistaken identity, in addition to puns and word play. In a way, you could say he was writing The Three Stooges while Curly was still in his crib. Directed by Matthew Tomlanovich, this is one Shakespeare's plays that is sure to delight the whole family. Performances begin at 8:15 p.m. and tickets are $10.00.  Read more about Shakespeare Dallas here.

STARING AT THE SUN: If you haven't heard of the Silversun Pickups by now it's about time you did. SSPU has been climbing the charts both in the US and Canada. Their latest release Swoon marks the band’s most mature arrangements yet. The quartet's textured melodies capture the hypnotic dream pop threads of My Bloody Valentine and pop bitter sweetness of Earlimart, and such a blend has wowed their native L.A. since 2005. With with Against Me! and The Henry Clay People opening at the Palladium Ballroom, this is one road show that is not to be missed.

WET BEHIND THE EARS: Last night I saw a commercial that claimed the number of plastic water bottles that were used last year could make three solid rings around the world. If you've ever wondered how we've gotten to this place then you may want to check out The Story of Bottled Water, a lecture being held at the University of Texas at Arlington today from 11 a.m. in the University Center Guadalupe Room. Then you'll want to go to Target right after to stock up on Brita filters.
