If you're not going to the Super Bowl, you can experience the next best thing in Dallas at The NFL Experience.

Construction just began, and more than 850,000 square feet of everything NFL is coming to life before Thursday's opening. Workers are building a theme park with at least 75 attractions.

With every second that goes by, the Dallas Convention Center is transforming into the biggest NFL Experience ever and first one to be held in Dallas in its 19 years. And it's very interactive, very engaging.

"Oh, this is the place to be. You're going to feel like you are completely immersed in the Super Bowl environment," said Jennifer Duncan, an NFL representative.

In the main area, people will get to feel like an NFL star, playing football games like "Punt, Pass, and Kick" and "Quarterback Challenge," while video screens on the surrounding walls show thousands of screaming fans.

Crews are sweeping the field where football and cheer clinics will be held. And kids will have their own area -- the NFL Rush Zone.

Thirty-thousand square feet of The NFL Experience is the NFL Shop, where you'll be able to buy merchandise from all 32 teams and ship it home from the FedEx shipping center on your way out.

The stagehands putting it all together can feel the energy.

"I've done a lot of shows in my life. And this tops it. This is the show. This is the show to be at," said Stephen Miller, of Eggers.

The NFL experience is open next Thursday through Sunday and Wednesday through Sunday during Super Bowl week. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under. You can buy them at the door or at superbowl.com.
