A SPOONFUL OF SUGAR IN CONCERT: American country music hitmakers Sugarland have been belting out country classics since original third member Kristen Hall decided to leave the group. Now musical duo Kristian Bush and current lead songstress Jennifer Nettles are bringing “Something More” to country Billboard charts. When the group became a duo in 2006, their album “Enjoy the Ride,” skyrocketed the two to number one with singles “Want To” and “Settlin’,” also winning a Grammy for the song “Stay.” Their third album "Love on the Inside" was just as succesful. Tonight the duo will be performing hits from their upcoming fourth album “The Incredible Machine” due out in November. See Sugarland with Randy Montana and Little Big Town at the Superpages.com Center at 7:30 p.m.
STAND-UP SOUP IN THE COMMUNITY: E! Network’s resident sarcastic funnyman and host of “The Soup” is hitting the streets with his act. Joel McHale has been popping up on different channels, from his long-standing role at E! to his new part on the NBC hit sitcom “Community,” playing a lawyer who was caught with a fake degree and returns to college becoming the leader in a pack of eccentric oddballs. When McHale is not busy jumping sets, in his free time he likes to do a bit of stand-up, poking fun at his life (rather than celebrities) for your entertainment. Catch the funnyman tonight at the Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie at 8 p.m.
THE ART OF THE BELLY: The hypnotizing movement, hip-shakin’ talent, and Middle Eastern culture – all rolled into one show celebrating “The Art of Bellydance.” Tonight, welcome the Bellydance Superstars to Dallas presenting “Bombay Bellywood.” Performing various bellydance routines in extravagant costumes accompanied by cultural song, this is one bellydancing event that will leave you attempting a few belly waves in the parking lot. The superstar belly-showing beauties will be performing at 8 p.m. at The Palladium Ballroom in Dallas.
