MAPLuna's Tortilla Factory is celebrating its 85th anniversary, having been in the tamale and tortilla business since 1924. The 1615 McKinney Avenue location is a Dallas Landmark and once produced 500 tortillas a day. Five generations later the factory cranks out more than 15,000 tortillas per hour for more than 200 restaurants and cafeterias in the DFW area. Luna's is also famous for its tamales that are shipped across the U.S.
