Dr Pepper was born in 1885 when a pharmacist invented a drink that tasted like a soda fountain smelled. In 1891, bottling of the drink moved to Dublin, Texas. Besides being the oldest Dr Pepper bottling plant in the world, Dublin Dr Pepper is made with the original formula, which calls for Imperial Pure Cane Sugar (instead of corn syrup). Dr Pepper urges everyone to drink the "authentic blend of 23 flavors" three times daily at 10, 2, and 4.
