Two Rave Motion Pictures theaters in Hurst and Fort Worth will be the only place in town to experience a historic live 3-D broadcast of the FedEx BCS National Championship Game, featuring Florida and Oklahoma on January 8 at 7 p.m. CT/8 p.m. ET.  

Fox Sports and Cinedigm Digital Cinema Corp. will broadcast the game in 3-D to select digitally-equipped theaters across the United States.

The announcement represents the first ever sporting event broadcast nationwide to the public in live 3-D.

In the DFW area, sports fans can experience the game as if they were on the sidelines at two locations:

The NBA All Star Saturday Night Live event, featuring the 3 Point, Slam Dunk & Skills Contests will also be broadcast on 3-D at these same theaters on Feb. 14 at 7 P.M. CT/ 8 p.m. ET. Tickets  will be $20.
