Clean Up Your 'Hood

Members of the Deep Ellum Community Association are encouraging people to come out Wednesday to help clean up the neighborhood in honor of Earth Day.
The walking tour starts at 6 p.m. in the East 2630 Commerce parking lot.
We recommend wearing gloves and bringing along utensils for creating eco-friendly artwork along the way. You never know what you may find downtown.
One NBC staffer scored an antique piece of furniture from the 50s in an alley over the weekend. Sure she had to bribe some strangers on the street to move it for her, but it was a small price to pay for a free antique.
