NASCAR's Labonte Visits Elem. School

NASCAR driver Bobby Labonte visited a Flower Mound elementary school Thursday to help educate kids on Internet safety.

The former cup winner took his #96 race car off the track and made a pit stop at Liberty Elementary School.

"We're just trying to promote Internet safety," said Bobby Labonte.

As a father, it's a cause very close to Labonte's heart.

"The Internet is such a great thing," Labonte said. "It just has so many dangers in it. So, if we can teach them at a young age -- that's great."

One lucky 5th grade student, Johnny Gregoriou, even got to catch a ride with Labonte in the Ask.com Ford Fusion car.

"I won a contest for cyber safety," Gregoriou explained. "I got to answer the door and get in his car."
