Starks Scores 21 as Texas A&M Beats TCU TCU falls 64-50 to Aggies.

A student at a school for adults with mental illness signed a letter of intent to play for Malcolm X College on a basketball scholarship.

 

Takia Starks scored 21 points to lead No. 4 Texas A&M to a 64-50 victory over No. 24 TCU on Sunday afternoon.

La Toya Micheaux added 14 rebounds and four steals for the Aggies (10-0).

A&M won despite shooting 2-of-15 on 3-pointers. The Aggies made up for it by forcing 23 turnovers. They had 16 steals.

TK LaFleur scored a game-high 22 points for TCU (8-4), which lost its second straight. A&M won't play again until Dec. 30, when it hosts New Mexico.
