Buljan Leads TCU in 57-48 Win Over Wichita St.

A student at a school for adults with mental illness signed a letter of intent to play for Malcolm X College on a basketball scholarship.

 

Zvonko Buljan scored 17 points and had 10 rebounds as TCU defeated Wichita State 57-48 Monday night.

Buljan hit 7-of-9 field goals, including all three of his 3-pointers, for the Horned Frogs (7-3). Edvinas Ruzgas added 16 points, hitting all of his shots from the field and the free-throw line. Kevin Langford added 11 points for TCU.

A.J. Hawkins led Wichita State (3-5) with 12 points and Toure' Murry added 10. Ramon Clemente had 10 rebounds.

TCU led from the start as Ruzgas hit two of his four 3-pointers and Jason Ebie hit another to give TCU a 9-2 lead with 16:29 left.

The Horned Frogs led 29-22 at the half.
