Volunteer for the Live Green Expo

Volunteer at the Live Green Expo

Join the “400 in One Week" Volunteer Challenge and staff the Live Green Expo on April 17 and 18 at Plano Centre.  Get involved. Get Green. Get out and have fun!

Volunteer job descriptions, shift needs, and registration are available online at www.livegreenexpo.net, then click on “Get Involved.”  The activities which require six volunteers or more per shift are listed as group friendly.  There are four shifts available throughout the day: 7:30 -10:30 a.m., 10 a.m -1 p.m., 12:30-3:30 p.m. and 3 -6 p.m.

“We welcome volunteers from all walks of life - concerned individuals, friends, families, scouts, corporate or church teams, employees and school groups – coming together to make a difference for North Texas,” says Volunteer Coordinator Deb Bliss.
The Live Green Expo is a fun, family event providing North Texans with the information and resources to make solid decisions and take responsible action to lead healthier lives with less impact on our environment.  Free to the public, the Expo will feature Ed Begley, Jr., over 180 exhibitors, Food Alley, a Kite Fest,  Art Show, eco-friendly vehicle ride and drive, a one-stop drop off for recycling and shredding, and a “Share & Connect” opportunity for North Texans to help each other with living green tips and success stories.
