Join NBC 5 and the American Cancer Society at Making Strides Against Breast Cancer® of North Texas on Saturday, October 6. The second annual 5K walk will be held at scenic Lake Carolyn in Las Colinas.
This noncompetitive, inspirational event raises awareness and funds to help end breast cancer by supporting the American Cancer Society’s efforts to find cures and support people facing this disease. Approximately 58% of the cancer patients served by the American Cancer Society in North Texas are breast cancer patients.
