NBC 5 and the Texas Health Presbyterian Foundation invite you to “An Evening in Cannes” at the 2013 Greer Garson Gala on Saturday, April 20, at the Omni Dallas Hotel.
In the early 1990s, Greer Garson, an Academy Award-winning actress and long-time supporter of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, lent her name to this signature event to help draw community support for the hospital.
The Greer Garson Gala will feature French cuisine, an auction full of treasures, a charitable casino, live entertainment, and a very special surprise.
Proceeds from the 2013 Greer Garson Gala will support critical needs of Women and Infant Services at Texas Health Dallas. More than 100,000 babies have come into the world at the Margot Perot Center for Women and Infants since its opening in 1983. The Margot Perot Center houses a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and a 44-bed Special Care Nursery to serve the hospital's tiniest patients. Another integral part of Women and Infant Services is The Peggy A. Bell Women's Diagnostic and Breast Center, which offers the latest medical technology for detecting breast cancer in a comfortable and warm environment.
