Thanksgiving is no longer just a day for feasting. It’s a great day for the best party in town! Join NBC 5 and the Fort Worth YMCA Thanksgiving Day, November 22, for the 31st Annual Fort Worth YMCA Turkey Trot!
With live music from the Steve Hill Trio, it’s the place to be on Thanksgiving morning.
The Fort Worth YMCA Turkey Trot has grown to over 12,000 runners that participated in the 5k, 10k, and Gobbler Trot.
Entry fees for the Fort Worth YMCA Turkey Trot range from $19 - $35, so get a group together and register early. All proceeds go to the YMCA’s scholarship fund. Participants who wish to be chip timed can do so for an additional $3.
The fun starts on Camp Bowie with a 1K “Gobbler Trot” at 8:00 a.m., a 10K Run at 8:20 a.m., and a 5K Run/Walk at 8:30 a.m. Race day registration begins at 6:00 a.m. Bring the whole family and be sure to have fun and work up your appetite at the Fort Worth YMCA Turkey Trot.
