Dotty Woodson is as Extension Program Specialist for water resources with Texas AgriLife Extension.

Dotty specializes in landscape water conservation, rainwater harvesting, rain gardens and irrigation efficiency.

She has B.S.and M.S. degrees in horticulture from Tarleton State University and a Doctoral degree from Texas A&M University and Texas Tech University.

Woodson’s program area is landscape water conservation. Woodson’s responsibilities include educating and assisting growers, nurserymen, landscapers, pesticide applicators, arborist, irrigators, local colleges, universities, water districts, city and county governments, North Central Texas Council of Government, park departments and mass media in the Metroplex.

Dotty has a weekly live segment on NBC-5 Today that airs Sundays at 6a.m.
