During his time there, he covered everything from the near-fatal stabbing of a State Senator, to widespread flooding across Southwest Virginia -- even one university’s research using llama manure to purify water. Prior to that, he worked for KKCO in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Tim hails from the Washington DC area – but fear not, he is a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in English and minor in Media Studies.

He is a sports junkie – and when not at work is usually decked out in his blue and silver or blue and orange supporting his beloved Cowboys and Virginia Cavaliers.

Tim loves to meet new people and hear from viewers, so don't be shy if you see him out and about in Arlington. And don't be surprised if you see him running around with a camera and tripod.

Tim is one of several journalists at NBC 5 that shoots, writes, and edits all of his own stories. He’s also very active on social media, so feel free to interact with him there.

Tim is very excited about being a Texan and is even more excited to bring you stories from Arlington that matter to you.
