NBC 5 Tops Lone Star Emmy Awards With Highest Honor: Station Excellence

Dallas/Fort Worth (October 21, 2008) – NBC 5 continues to be recognized as a leader in

Texas broadcasting. The 6^th Annual Lone Star Emmy Award winners were announced on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at the Verizon Wireless Theatre in

Houston, TX . The awards recognize outstanding achievement by individuals and programs broadcast during the 2007-2008 calendar year.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

NBC 5 was honored with the highest Lone Star Emmy Award for “Station Excellence" and a series of awards in news, sports, promotions, photography, editing, writing, audio and more. “This is an especially gratifying award because it doesn’t spotlight an individual; it recognizes the hard work of an entire team.
