David is returning to his roots after spending the last five years in chilly Minnesota working at KARE TV, where he covered the Twin Cities sports scene. The Texas native reported on several bizarre sports stories from the un-retirement of Brett Favre to the Metrodome stadium collapse.

David made his Minnesota mark by setting the world record for the longest tennis match ever played.  He and his opponent volleyed for 36 hours, 36 minutes and 36 seconds consecutively.

Born and raised in Plano, David graduated from Plano West and received his bachelor’s degree in journalism at the University of Missouri.  He considers himself a Mizzou sports fanatic.

David loves all sports, but he has a passion for playing golf.  He enjoys spending time with his wife, eating Tex-Mex and spending time outdoors.
