Your Child is Spoiled: Survey

Dallas, Fort Worth make list of cities that spoil their kids the most

According to a Bundle survey, Dallas and Fort Worth are both on the list of cities that spoil their kids the most.

The higher cost of living, coupled with parents with higher disposable incomes, leads to an overall higher average of spending on our little bundles of joy.

This will not come as a shock to anyone who has ever been to American Girl at Galleria Dallas a week before Christmas. It’s a war zone, complete with a hundred screaming girls (and parents), all in the style of Veruca Salt from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Overall, the survey reads like a list of filming locations for TLC’s Toddlers & Tiaras. New York City made the top of the list with Brooklyn and Miami close behind.

In contrast, Madison, Wis., made the list of cities spending the least on their kids, at 58 percent below average.

It may sound like a boring place to grow up, but Madison is also rated by Bundle as one of the safest places to live. Just as long as you can live with knowing your precious snowflake won’t be getting the $100,000 Sweet Sixteen party she deserves.
