Police: Bank Customer Makes Deposit, Exposes Himself

Arlington man arrested after complaint from bank teller in Fort Worth

An Arlington man was arrested Wednesday in Fort Worth after a bank teller reported that he exposed himself while making a deposit.

Eugene Kendall Akin, 57, was a customer at Southwest Bank at 2201 Midtown Lane, according to a police report.

While waiting in line, the teller noticed he appeared to be “playing with himself” and was videotaping other customers, the report said.

The teller said he approached her to make a deposit when he “unzipped his pants and exposed his genitals.”

According to the report, the 23-year-old female teller “didn’t know how to react so she finished the transaction” and then called police.

The report noted that the bank has surveillance video.

Akin was arrested on a charge of indecent exposure and released on $1,000 bond.

A telephone listing for Akin in Arlington is no longer in service and he could not be reached for comment.
