After 21 years, Bruce Garner has been reunited with his stolen revolver.
In June of 1989, just after moving into his Terrell neighborhood, Garner came home to find his new residence burglarized.
"I was only gone for a couple of hours, and when I returned, my home was broken into," Garner told Kaufman County Sheriff's Department.
Among the stolen items was a leather belt and holster set -- plus Garner's nine-shot H&R revolver.
The suspects in the burglary were never caught, which looked bad for the chances of getting the gun back. Yet, 21 years after the incident, Kaufman Country Deputies located the pawned gun and returned it to Garner on Thursday morning.
