Arlington fire crews are working to put out hot spots after about two dozen hay bales were dumped, then set on fire in a Kroger parking lot.
Firefighters got the call around 7 a.m. at the Kroger in the 900-block of W. Lamar.
Crews on the scene said they don't know how the bales got here or who may have set them on fire.
The bales are taking up dozens of parking spaces at the Kroger and adjacent shopping strip center.
Firefighters are working on putting out hot spots in the hay before hay removal can begin.
There were no injuries reported in connection with the fire.
