An ax-wielding Oklahoma City teen is behind bars following an unusual attempted robbery.
The young suspect was left begging for his mommy when a determined store clerk fought him off with a can of mace.
"When I saw the ax, I said, 'You need to leave before I shoot you,'" said the store clerk Ali Ait Mahdi.
Swinging the ax around, the teen hit the store's counter, leaving behind a large gash.
Holding pepper spray, Ali fought back, spraying the teen in the face.
According to the police report, the suspect, Giovanni Davenport, came out, "crying... throwing up...and calling for his momma."
As luck would have it, when the teen stumbled outside, he ran into the waiting arms of two FBI agents who saw the crime go down.
