USA Track and Field has announced the remaining positions for the 2012 Olympic team, and it's good news for two North Texans.

Lamar High School in Arlington alum and Baylor graduate Jeremy Wariner, received one of the spots for the relay pool.

After a disappointing sixth place finish in the 400m final, Wariner may have the opportunity to redeem himself as part of the 4 x 400 Meter Relay team as they go for gold.

Wariner's 2012 Olympic bid marks his third trip to an Olympic Games.

Darvis "Doc" Patton, a TCU graduate and Lake Highlands High School alum, was also named to the relay pool.

If selected to race, he will contribute to the 4 x 100 M Relay team. This will also be Patton's third Olympic bid.
