Vlad Out, Murphy in for Game 2

The Texas Rangers are making a lineup change for Game 2 against the San Francisco Giants.

In is OF David Murphy and out is Vlad Guerrero who played RF in the Game 1 loss.

Guerrero, who was the team's designated hitter during the regular season, played in only 18 contests during the regular season.  In Wednesday night's 11-7 loss, Guerrero was charged with two errors.  He was 1-4 at the plate with 2 RBIs and 1 strike out.

Murphy, who had an RBI as a pinch hitter in his one plate appearance in Game 1, is moving to left field.  That will leave Josh Hamilton in center and Nelson Cruz will slide over to right.

Look for Vladdy to be back in the lineup in the DH slot with the series returns to Texas on Saturday.

Game 2 is scheduled to begin shortly before 7 p.m.
