The U.S. men's basketball team, including The Colony's Deron Williams, are on their way to repeating as Olympic Champions.

The team beat San Antonio Spurs Tony Parker and his teammates from France 98-71 Sunday behind 22 points from Kevin Durant.
Kevin Love added 1 and Kobe Byrant had 10 for the American's, who led by only 1 point after the first quarter.   That would all change by the time half-time arrived, with Team USA up 52-36.
Durant and Bryant opened the third with 3s and the reigning gold medalists cruised to victory from there.
Parker had 10 points for France, who is a medal contender with six NBA players.  The French were led in scoring by Ali Traore, who plays professionally for Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar out of Russia.
Williams scored 3 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds and 3 turnovers in the win.  He missed three 3-point attempts and was 1 for 2 from the line.
