University Interscholastic League officials say Garland will host the 2012 state high school volleyball tournament in November.
The tournament has been held at Texas State University in San Marcos since 2000. From 1967-1999 it was held in Austin.
Garland's Curtis Culwell Center will host this year's tournament. UIL spokesman Chris Schmidt says no tournament site has been announced for 2013 and beyond
