Tony Romo Says He's Feeling Good

Romo came away from the win over Seattle with some sore ribs and a hurt ankle

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is still dealing with some sore ribs and a sore ankle, five days after being knocked around a bit in last week’s victory over the Seattle Seahawks, but he practiced on Thursday and, per Calvin Watkins of ESPN Dallas, says he’s fine.

Romo was held out of practice on Wednesday, but that’s more or less standard operating procedure for the veteran at this point.

In the Seattle game, Romo took a shot to the ribs from linebacker Bobby Wagner, a hit that left him on the turf at CenturyLink Field. He later suffered a minor ankle injury that left him walking with a limp, but he assured reporters after the win that his back was just fine.

“He's a warrior,” receiver Dez Bryant said of Romo.
