Tickets for Possible World Series on Sale Sunday

Think the Rangers are headed for the World Series? Then get ready to buy your tickets.

If the Rangers defeat the New York Yankees for the AL championship, up to three World Series games could be played at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Tickets go on sale for Game 3, Game 4 and Game 5 (if necessary) on Sunday morning.

Individual game tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. by phone at 972-RANGERS, online at Texasrangers.com or in person at the ballpark's first base box office. Phone sales and the box office will close at 4 p.m. Sunday and be open Monday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The World Series is scheduled for Oct. 27 through Nov. 4. If the Rangers play, Game 3 will be held in Arlington on Oct. 30. Game 4 would be held on Oct. 31, and Game 5 would be played in Arlington on Nov. 1 if necessary.

Customers can purchase a maximum of eight tickets each per game. Ticket prices range from $50 for standing room to $250.
