The Rangers in the World Series?
Baseball writer Jesse Spector thinks so. If you are a Rangers fan mlb.com states the Fall Classic would start in Arlington October 25th.
The Sporting News says the Rangers are favorites to win the 2016 World Series. It is a good stoy and worth reading.
He writes:
The Rangers have the best record in the American League, and the second-best record in the major leagues behind the Cubs. Texas has won 15 of 25 games since the trade deadline, a .600 clip with the basic roster that the first-place team in the AL West will take into October.
These facts alone certify the Rangers as a contender to win the World Series for the first time in their history. Then there’s this: Texas is 54-27 against teams with winning records — more wins against good teams than the Braves or Twins have against all of baseball this year.
