The season-opening game between TCU and Baylor has been moved up a day for a national television broadcast.

ESPN will televise the Friday night, Sept. 2 matchup of bowl teams.

Rose Bowl champion TCU was 13-0 last season and No. 2 in the final AP Top 25 poll. Going into their final season in the Mountain West Conference, the Horned Frogs have 25 consecutive regular-season wins and 39 in 42 games overall.

Baylor was 7-6 last season and played in the Texas Bowl, the Big 12 team's first bowl game since 1994.

The game will be the first of three Friday night games next season for TCU. The Frogs host SMU on Sept. 30 on CBS Sports Network, then play BYU at Cowboys Stadium on Oct. 28 on ESPN.
