Dallas Stars forward Patrick Sharp will participate in Girls Try Hockey for Free Day on Saturday at Dr Pepper StarCenter McKinney as part of Girls Hockey Weekend.
An initiative of USA Hockey, Girls Hockey Weekend aims to build awareness, celebrate current players and grow participation for girl's hockey.
Girls of all ages can learn to shoot, skate and stickhandle from professional coaches at three free convenient sessions at Dr Pepper StarCenter rinks across the Metroplex:
- Saturday, Oct. 8 - Dr Pepper StarCenter Famers Branch (9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.)
- Saturday, Oct. 8 - Dr Pepper StarCenter McKinney (12:45 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.)
- Saturday, Oct. 8 - Dr Pepper StarCenter Richardson (3 p.m. - 4 p.m.)
