The Dallas Stars released their 2012-13 regular season schedule on Thursday.
The club will open their 20th season in Dallas Oct. 16 against the Coyotes, the same team they'll face in the season opener on Oct. 13 in Phoenix.
To honor the club's 20 years, the Stars are planning several special events and commemorative merchandise honoring the team's past and present players.
The current roster of Stars will also sport a 20-year patch on their sweaters.
