Stars Activate Brendan Morrow from IR

Morrow missed 18 games with injury

The Dallas Stars announced Friday that they have activated Brenden Morrow from injured reserve.

Morrow was placed on injured reserve on Feb. 3 with an upper body injury. Head Coach Glen Gulutzan told the media today that Morrow is questionable for Saturday’s home game vs. Anaheim.

Morrow, 32, has missed the past 18 games with an upper body injury. The Carlyle, Saskatchewan, native has appeared in 43 games this season for the Stars, registering eight goals and 14 assists for totaling 22 points. The 6-0, 205-pound forward is one point away from tying Jere Lehtinen for No. eight on the Stars franchise scoring list at 514 points.

The Dallas Stars are in first place in the Pacific Division and have earned points in nine-consecutive games, going 8-0-1. The team will host the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
