So Far, So Good for Rehabbing Darvish

If there was any chance Yu Darvish could make it back for an October push after undergoing Tommy John surgery in March, you can bet Darvish would do it.

But there is no chance of him returning after just six or seven months, so he's taking his rehab slowly, and so far, so good for the Rangers' ace.

Darvish began throwing from 60 feet earlier this week. It was just from flat ground, not a mound, but it was a big step in his rehab process and the Rangers' ace said he's felt fine so far.

"I have no pain whatsoever," Darvish told the Associated Press through an interpreter Tuesday. "I've experienced nothing negative so far, I'm doing what I can each day, and everything has been positive."

Darvish being added to the top of a Rangers rotation with Cole Hamels will be a huge boost for Texas and give them the best 1-2 punch they've ever had.
