Skylar Diggins Celebrates Biography Release at Meet and Greet Event

Dallas Wings guard Skylar Diggins promoted the release of her biography

Dallas Wings guard Skylar Diggins' story has inspired an author to write a biography.

Many athletes can say that, but few can claim that the target audience is for kids.

Diggins celebrated the release of "The Middle School Rules of Skylar Diggins" at a Barnes & Noble in Dallas, a book written by Sean Jensen.

Many fans and bookstore goers got to meet the WNBA All-Star and learn about her upbringing.

The 25-year-old grew up in a diverse, middle-class family while overcoming bullying and troubles fitting in at school.

During that process, she became the Gatorade National High School Player of the Year and one of the most decorated college basketball players without necessarily being the fastest, strongest or athletic player on the team.
