Sean Lee Dealing With Concussion

Lee left Sunday night's loss to the Saints in the first half with a concussion

The Dallas Cowboys just can’t get away from the injury bug.

During the first half of Sunday night’s overtime loss to the Saints in New Orleans, Dallas lost linebacker Sean Lee to a concussion. He left fairly quietly really, after being hurt on the Saints’ second possession of the night, and went to the locker room to undergo further testing.

Lee never did return, leaving the Cowboys defense without their leader and leading tackler. He finished with three tackles.

Of course, Lee missed all of last season after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament in OTAs. He has still yet to play 16 games in a season, though he came close in 2011, when he appeared in 15 games. He’ll have to go through the NFL concussion protocol this week to be cleared for next week’s matchup with the Patriots.
