Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo fully expects DeMarco Murray to play against the Indianapolis Colts, if there’s any way he can.
Of course, Murray suffered a fractured bone in his hand in last week’s 38-27 victory over the Eagles in Philadelphia. He underwent surgery on Monday, but practiced on Wednesday and Thursday, presumably a sign that he’s at least seriously considering giving it a go.
"I think you've all seen how special DeMarco is as a player. He's had a great season," Romo said, per Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas. "I think he's going to do everything he can to play. We're just going to do what we do and go from there."
If Murray can’t play on Sunday, the Cowboys will use a platoon system consisting of Joseph Randle and Lance Dunbar against the Colts.
