Rolando McClain Practicing, Feeling Better

McClain missed the victory over the Jaguars with knee and groin issues

Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain was back on the practice field on Wednesday and came away from the session saying he feels good.

McClain was forced to miss the 31-17 victory over the Jaguars in London after suffering a sprained medial collateral ligament in the loss to the Cardinals the week before.

β€œI feel rested,” McClain said, per the Dallas Morning News. β€œI don’t think you ever get close to 100 percent in the football season, but the rest is well-needed for everybody and I think more guys had their legs today in practice so it felt better.”

To this point, McClain might be the surprise of the season for the Cowboys. After retiring prior to the 2013 season and sitting out all year, Dallas acquired McClain from the Baltimore Ravens after Sean Lee tore his ACL in training camp. He has 44 tackles, a sack and two interceptions on the year.
