Report: Mavericks to Sign Seth Curry

Sounds like the Mavericks are getting a Curry.

According to The Vertical, Dallas is reportedly signing free agent guard Seth Curry to a two-year, $6 million deal. He’s the younger brother of two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry.

Seth Curry averaged 6.8 points and 1.5 assists per game for the Sacramento Kings last season. The 25-year old did most of his damage in April once his minutes increased. Curry averaged 16.4 points and shot 49 percent from three-point range in 32.4 minutes per game.

Last year was his only season in Sacramento. From 2013-2015, Curry played in a total of four games for Cleveland, Memphis and Phoenix.

With the addition of Curry, along with Harrison Barnes and Andrew Bogut, the Mavericks now have 13 players who are either under contract or have agreed to terms when the NBA moratorium ends on July 7.
