Report: Dorial Green-Beckham Declines Cowboys Visit

Green-Beckham is widely regarded as one of the five best receivers in the class of 2015

It’s not often that the Dallas Cowboys invite a prospect to Valley Ranch for a pre-draft visit and the prospect declines. But according to FOX Sports, that’s exactly what happened when the Cowboys gave an invite to former Mizzou receiver Dorial Green-Beckham recently.

Per the report, the reason for Green-Beckham declining the visit is wholly unclear. He has visited the San Francisco 49ers and the Cincinnati Bengals so far this spring in preparation for the NFL Draft, which kicks off on April 30 in Chicago.

Green-Beckham is widely viewed as one of the top five receivers in the 2015 class. He was named second-team All-SEC as a member of the Missouri Tigers in 2013, but was dismissed from the team the following spring after he allegedly forced his way into an apartment and pushed a woman down several stairs. Ultimately, he was never charged in the incident.

After his dismissal, Green-Beckham moved on to Oklahoma, where spent the 2014 season on the Sooners’ practice squad.
