Texas Rangers Michael Young to bat 7th in All-Star Game.

Texas Rangers third baseman Michael Young will get the start in Tuesday nights All-Star game.

Young is replacing Tampa Bay Rays Evan Longoria who had to drop out because of an infected ring finger on his right hand.

Young was elected to the All-Star roster by the player ballot and will bat in seventh place.

This is the sixth time Young has appeared in the All-Star game and the first time he has been honored with the start.

Rangers Josh Hamilton and Nelson Cruz are also in the line-up.

On Monday night, Cruz, finished second in the home run derby behind Brewers first baseman Prince Fielder.
